The Turnasella home is 2,600 square feet. Some 1,000 square feet of that space was added 10 years ago when the second floor and attic were built. Turnasella says:
“It’s a spacious home with nice architectural details, like wainscoting and French doors in the dining room. The French doors lead to a sunken family room, where I have a wood-burning fireplace. It’s comfortable and where I spend most of my time other than the office, a converted bedroom, which is right off the den. Three bedrooms are on the main floor. . . . The eat-in kitchen is large and has two skylights and a sliding glass door that leads to a nice-size cedar deck. The floors in the common areas of the main floor and second floor are hardwood. . . . When we added the second floor and attic, I had central air-conditioning installed, but when you open those front windows, there’s a delightful breeze off the bay. The three-zone heating and two-zone air-conditioning systems are very convenient and efficient. . . . We raised both our kids here and have great memories of family parties during the holidays and special occasions. The beach is 10 minutes away, and New York City is a one-hour train ride. It’s a great neighborhood. I’m going to miss this home, but it’s ready for the next right family.”
