Why it’s for sale Liz, 63, a retired Huntington Hospital nurse, and Jeff, 65, an attorney, say they’re moving to Florida to be closer to family.

“This was my parents’ home. It was a two-bedroom ranch among million-dollar homes. We sold our previous home in Huntington, and were going to buy something else so my mother could move in with us. Instead, we put an extension on her house in 1996. It was the right thing to do. . . .
“We spend most of our time in the den, which has built-in book cases my father put in. We have a wood-burning fireplace we use all winter. My husband, an avid reader, spends hours in there. . . .
“The kitchen was tiny. We renovated it and put on an extension, adding the sunroom.
“There are two bedrooms on the first floor. We converted one to an office for my husband’s practice. It has a side entrance. The master bedroom is beautiful. It’s huge and has a master bath with a double Jacuzzi. . . .
“We’re on a very quiet four-house cul-de-sac just a few minutes from town and local beaches. It’s going to be hard to leave. We’re really very emotional about this home.”
