The Triglias have owned their three-bedroom, two-bathroom home for 18 years. It is on a 40-by-100-foot fenced lot in the Patchogue-Medford School District. Darlene shares her thoughts about the house:
“I love walking into a bright, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings .?.?. that welcomes you with soothing happiness. I have a neutral color palette. When you walk in, the dining room, living room and kitchen complement and flow into each other .?.?.
"We’ve had many upgrades done professionally. We have a new kitchen with beautiful maplewood-glazed custom cabinets and granite counters and backsplash [and] five Tiffany-style pendant lights. The kitchen with vaulted ceilings overlooks the living room. The master bathroom is fully tiled, with a glass block window.
"We have new Trex decking in the back and [on] the front steps. The property has in-ground sprinklers and a security system. There’s plenty of room for entertaining [on the deck] .?.?.
"We did new windows and a new architectural roof .?.?. We have a full basement with a family room and a separate room with a hot tub. The neighborhood is private and quiet. There’s only one other house on the block .?.?."
