Why you should buy their house in Oceanside

The Goodmans have lived in their three-bedroom, 2½ -bathroom Colonial situated on a 40-by-100-foot lot in central Oceanside for 11 years. The home, on a dead-end street, has central air-conditioning, wood floors, a skylight in the playroom-den and an in-ground sprinkler system. Karin shares her thoughts about the house:
“I love the kitchen. It’s open with stainless-steel appliances. It’s very large and is where everybody gathers. . . . On the first floor is the living room, den, which we call a playroom, a formal dining room. . . . We have a full, finished basement with a bathroom. . . An archway [leads] from the living room to the dining room. . .. All the bedrooms and a full bathroom are upstairs. . . . We have a detached two-car garage. . . . The neighborhood is great, with young kids on the block. They all play at the dead end. Gerard Court is convenient to shopping in Rockville Centre and the train station. We are in School District 11 but near the Florence A. Smith Elementary School. The kids can walk to the playground there two blocks away.
