Why you should buy their house in Woodmere
The Goldsteins have owned their four-bedroom, 2½-bath house for almost 20 years. It is on a 62-by- 150-foot lot that also accommodates a detached garage. The home features a legal four-room office area that could be opened up to expand the living space. Sharon says:
"I moved my Mom into the extra space in the home. She was elderly, and we were able to keep her near, but we were both able to maintain our own privacy. It is a legal office, so a doctor, dentist, lawyer or accountant could make a nice home office . . . We have a great backyard. We hosted many holidays and parties . . . The bathrooms are new, with ceramic floors and tile on the walls, new fixtures, new everything.
"We redid the kitchen about 10 years ago . . . and opened up the whole first floor to work around the fireplace. We have a large archway. My kitchen is big enough to hold a big dining room table, so we use the dining room as a den . . . My husband can walk to and from the train station. We're in a very nice neighborhood, and it's in school district 14" -- the Hewlett-Woodmere district.
