Why it’s for sale The Colemans, who have two grown sons, are relocating for Brian’s job. Brian, 53, is a vice president of sales and Diane, 51, is a nurse.

What initially attracted the Colemans to Miller Place was the school district. But since moving into this 12-room Victorian in 1996, they have gained much more. They have enjoyed the community, says Brian, adding, “In terms of the neighborhood, it’s gorgeous and our neighbors couldn't be better.

Set on a .69-acre parcel with an in-ground pool surrounded by Travertine stone, the house features wood floors, crown moldings, two fireplaces, three bathrooms and five bedrooms, including the master suite with a walk in closet and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. The kitchen is outfitted with new GE Profile stainless steel appliances. “When you’re an entertainer and a cook, which Diane is, having a kitchen like this is really enjoyable,” Brian says, adding:

“When we have a party, which is about every other month, we have at least 30 people. We enjoy having outdoor events in the back yard. Between that and the open floor plan inside the house, it’s been a fabulous place to entertain...Life has been tremendous here.”
