A three-bedroom, three-bathroom Colonial in Wyandanch with an expansive primary bedroom suite is on the market for $475,000.

Built in the 1950s, the house on Cumberbach Street had a second-story added in 2006, along with a new roof. The first floor was also reconfigured and updated at that time.

The kitchen has custom wood cabinets, granite and stainless-steel appliances, as well as bamboo floors that flow into the dining room, which has sliding glass doors to a wooden deck.

The den has a hardwood floor and a custom-built granite topped wet bar with a small refrigerator.

The primary bedroom has a large walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. A sliding-glass door leads to a private second-floor balcony.

That’s unusual to find in a home priced this low, said listing agent Nancy Vargas-Johnson of Realty Connect USA. "It’s something you’d expect in a $500,000 to $600,000 home."

The other two bedrooms also have walk-in closets and private entrances into the full hall bathroom, which has a skylight.

The house is 2,100 square feet, not including the basement, which has a laundry area and three separate rooms. It is in the Wyandanch School District and taxes are $12,822. The property is near Belmont Lake State Park and the Southern State Parkway.

"The street itself is really well maintained; the houses there are well maintained," Vargas-Johnson said.

The 0.14-acre property has a large wooden deck in the backyard and a long driveway that can accommodate multiple cars.

Features like crown molding throughout and raised panel doors are nice touches, Vargas-Johnson noted. "All these things are what buyers look for and don’t always come in this price point," she said.
