Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez was in Dallas on Sunday to watch Super Bowl XLV between the Packers and Steelers. Get your popcorn ready!
The Fox cameras caught the All-Star in a candid moment with girlfriend Cameron Diaz as she hand-fed him popcorn.
Not only did a few hundred million take part in the moment, but the shot was shown on the extra-large big screen that looms over Cowboys Stadium. The crowd booed the PDA between Rodriguez and his movie-star girlfriend. Rodriguez did play for the Texas Rangers from 2001-2003.
Whether you like Fox broadcaster Joe Buck or not, his comment was pretty funny: “I’m sure Alex Rodriguez was thrilled we put the camera on him at that moment.” Red Sox fans are about the only ones thrilled as they just got some new ammo for A-Rod for the 2011 season. I can already see the signs at Fenway Park.
