Ann Romney's love for the show "Modern Family" just got political.

The sitcom's creator, Steve Levitan, has offered the possible first lady a role in the show, but only if her husband's politics don't get in the way.

Romney, who declared "Modern Family" is her favorite TV show in an interview with The Insider, was offered the role on Tuesday via Twitter... But it comes with a catch.

"Thrilled Ann Romney says ModFam is her favorite show," Levitan tweeted. "We'll offer her the role of officiant at Mitch & Cam's wedding. As soon as it's legal."

Levitan's quippy offer came Tuesday night, shortly after Romney's speech at the Republican National Convention, in which the 63-year-old said her husband "will not fail."

The mother of five has yet to tweet anything about Levitan's "offer."
