Billy Joel puts Florida homes on the market

Billy Joel has put two adjacent Florida properties up for sale. Variety reported Tuesday that the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, 66, separately bought an undeveloped lot and a second parcel, with an 8,700-square-foot mansion, for $11.8 million last year and now hopes to sell the 3.8-acre package for $29 million. Located in Manalapan, south of Palm Beach, the parcels are bisected by Ocean Boulevard, also known as Florida’s fabled State Road A1A, with the mansion’s portion on the Atlantic ocean front.
