What's new: fiction from Stephen King, Michael Connelly and Isabel Allende

The latest of Connelly's Harry Bosch novels -- the basis for the Amazon Prime series "Bosch," starting its second season next year -- finds the retired LAPD cop reluctantly working for his brother, defense lawyer Mickey Haller, the star of the author's other popular series, "The Lincoln Lawyer." There she meets and eventually falls in love with the son of the Japanese gardener, whose own family is sent to an internment camp. The love between these two characters will span decades.
