Camila Alves talks Matthew McConaughey at Fashion Week

Camila Alves, resplendent in a Yigal Azrouel turquoise maxi skirt, turned up for the designer's show on Friday and was happy to talk about her recent engagement to longtime beau Mathew McConaughey. 

Was it a surprise? "Absolutely, I had no idea." Was she happy with the ring?  "Absolutely!  It is 100% me."

The actress/handbag designer admitted to being an ardent vintage shopper who has trouble getting rid of things in her closet. "Sometimes I look at things that are like 9 years old and I just can't throw them out."

And a tip about vintage shopping: "Just because something has a little rip or a stain on it, don't pass it by. For like two dollars you can get something good and then pay to fix it up yourself."
