Sorry, "Dancing With the Stars" fans: No new Bristol. No controversy. No major surprises. It looks like the 12th season - bowing March 21 on ABC - will take a breather after last season's BristolPalinpalooza. But for Long Island viewers, there is a bonus. There are two contestants with Island connections.

Here's the full cast, with quick predictions:

KIRSTIE ALLEY: Rebecca Howe from "Cheers," but in recent years a plus-size star who's fought the pounds. Should be popular; long shot to win.

PETRA NEMCOVA: Model whose fiance was killed in 2004's Indian Ocean tsunami. Not much name recognition, but that could change; she is engaged again.

CHRIS JERICHO: Major wrestling star and would-be reality TV star. And hails from Manhasset. Reportedly matched with Cheryl Burke, who always confers an instant advantage to her partner.

CHELSEA KANE: Kane's a Disney Channel star ("Jonas LA," voice in "Fish Hooks"). Bright personality could score well.

ROMEO: Rapper - and son of Master P - was set to appear season 2, but Dad did instead, creating a sublime spectacle of dancing awfulness. Romeo should do better.

KENDRA WILKINSON: Former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner; starred in E!'s "The Girls Next Door." Longest of shots unless Kendra has some secret dance moves.

WENDY WILLIAMS: Talk show star, who may know how to dance or may not; but plenty of name recognition. That should help through the early rounds.

SUGAR RAY LEONARD: Welterweight champ for years; should end up in top three, if not win.

RALPH MACCHIO: Huntington's own and the original Karate Kid. Has the charm, the looks, and should have dance floor durability.

HINES WARD: Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver. Pittsburgh will vote for him. He could win this.

MIKE CATHERWOOD: "Loveline" radio show co-host. Unknown feet.
