"Celebrity Autobiography," a well-traveled comedy program in which stars effectively roast fellow stars by reading verbatim from their memoirs, is coming to Broadway for a four-performance run, with Long Island natives Alec Baldwin and Susan Lucci among the rotating cast.
It was finally some good news for Baldwin, who was arrested last week for allegedly punching someone in a parking dispute and this week learned his new ABC talk show was being relegated to the deadly 10 p.m. Saturday time slot. He's scheduled to be in the "Celebrity" cast on Dec. 10.
Lucci, who appeared last month in the show at Stony Brook's Staller Center, appears on Dec. 3 and 17. Both have written memoirs, but no one will confirm whether they'll actually be reading from them or from the writings of others, which in past performance have included everyone from Justin Bieber to Cher.
Additional cast members for the brief Broadway run, opening on Nov. 26 for four consecutive Mondays at the Marquis Theatre, include Mario Cantone, Lewis Black and Cecily Strong. For ticketing and other information, go to celebrityautobiography.com.
