Amber Tamblyn, David Cross expecting first child

Actress Amber Tamblyn says she and her husband, comedian David Cross, are expecting their first child.

“Motherhood has been heavily on my mind because I am going to be a mother soon. I’m pregnant, with a daughter on the way,” Tamblyn, 33, wrote Wednesday in a Glamour magazine essay about raising girls in what she called a “boys will be boys” culture. “Here is a new piece I wrote for @glamourmag,” the former “Two and a Half Men” star tweeted. “This one’s important and personal. Much like this election.”

She and “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret” star Cross, 52, celebrated their fourth anniversary on Oct. 6.
