All eyes were on Amy Adams at the aptly named Golden Globe awards -- would she leave her signature "American Hustle" cleavage home?

Nope. Little was left to the imagination in her Valentino couture number.

And she wasn't the only one flashing . . . color, that is. Newcomer Lupita Nyong'o captivated in Ralph Lauren's vibrant red cape dress that exposed only her shoulders. There was Taylor Swift, all ladylike in a "cherry red" bustle-backed Carolina Herrera gown. And Lena Dunham dared to wear a parakeet yellow job -- jury out. Emma Watson dissed convention with her open-back orangy Dior that revealed -- OMG -- pants underneath. Cool.

Some of the vets pulled out the classic black stuff (anything but basic), notably Cate Blanchett in lacy Armani Prive, Julianna Margulies in black and gold Andrew Gn, Heidi Klum's ethereal embroidered Marchesa confection and Julia Roberts, whose Dolce & Gabbana medley of a man-tailored shirt under a tube top was a tad strange. Sofia Vergara brought new meaning to dangerous curves in Zac Posen.

And speaking of curves (not dangerous), several ladies didn't hesitate to put on the glam as they showed off their baby bumps: Kerry Washington in whisper green Balenciaga, Olivia Wilde in skintight green sequin Gucci and Drew Barrymore bedecked in pink and orange flowers.

Surprisingly, even the guys weren't shy when it came to strutting shades other than black. Tuxes ran the gamut from Matthew McConaughey's three-piece emerald green velvet ensemble to Usher in, well, we're calling it eggplant.
