Amy Schumer sets NYCB Theatre at Westbury show

Comedian Amy Schumer is returning to her old stamping grounds as she brings her new tour to NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Sept. 22.
The 41-year-old Schumer, who was raised in Rockville Centre, will have a lot to talk about onstage after marrying chef Chris Fischer in 2018 and giving birth to their son, Gene, a year later. Her last Long Island gig was appearing at the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival at Jones Beach in the summer of 2015. However, Schumer was spotted on the Island last year shooting her Hulu series, “Life & Beth.” She is also set to appear in the second season of Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” with Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. Additionally, her old Comedy Central sketch show, “Inside Amy Schumer,” is being revived on Paramount+.
On July 23, Schumer is scheduled to headline The Clubhouse in East Hampton as a fundraiser for The Retreat, which provides safety, shelter and support for victims of domestic abuse on the East End.
