Comedy star Amy Schumer has thanked the medical aides and practitioners who helped her father attend her recent Madison Square Garden concert despite his multiple sclerosis.

“My dad watching me at the [g]arden,” the Rockville Centre-reared Schumer, 35, posted on Instagram late Monday night, accompanying a short video clip of her father, Gordon, laughing in the audience of her Oct. 18 show.

“I want to thank all his aides and doctors and nurses and Nilda and especially Dr Sadiq for giving my dad a second chance at life,” she continued. “He never used to be able to come watch me perform. But he is reborn with the faith you have given him. Everyone at Tisch MS research center thank you,” she wrote, referring to the nonprofit organization in Manhattan.

Schumer added a special shout-out with the hashtag #samthenurseiloveyou.

In the video, Schumer onstage can be heard saying of her parents, “I’m a wiseass psycho because you guys raised me that way, so thank you.” She also mentions her sister, comedy writer Kim Caramele, “who helped me work on the book ‘The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo,’ ” Schumer’s recent best-selling memoir, “which is available . . . ” she continued in a jocular singsong voice.

There was no direct mention in the Instagram post of the siblings’ mother, Sandra, who lives in Long Beach. Gordon Schumer, who has had MS since Amy was 12, resides in an assisted-living facility on Long Island.
