Angie Everhart to undergo thyroid surgery

Model-actress Angie Everhart, 43, is set to undergo surgery Tuesday to treat thyroid cancer. Her representative told TV's "Extra" Monday, "Word has been trickling out about [her] health. She wants to set the record straight by letting everyone know that it is true that she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer; however, the prognosis is very good." The rep said Everhart "expects to be back to work and to mommy duties in a few weeks [and] wants to thank everyone who has heard about it and expressed their support." Everhart is a single parent to son Kayden, 3.
