Arquette: No truth to Cox-Hopkins romance

The ever-candid David Arquette began a week of appearances on Howard Stern's radio show Tuesday by announcing that estranged wife Courteney Cox rejected his advances during a recent Disney World trip with their daughter, and denying Cox is being intimate with her "Cougar Town" co-star, Josh Hopkins, with whom she recently vacationed in the Caribbean.
"How far did you get with her? A kiss?" Stern asked of the couple's Disney jaunt with daughter Coco, 6.
"A little bit," Arquette, 39, answered. He went on to say that Cox -- whose room was on a different floor of their hotel -- turned him down when he tried to "make a move on her" when they were alone.
Arquette, who attended the "Scream 4" Hollywood premiere with his co-star Cox on Monday, bristled when Stern needled him about his wife and daughter vacationing on Saint Barthelemy with Hopkins, who plays Cox's character's boyfriend on "Cougar Town."
"I swear, she's not [having sex with him]!" Arquette declared. "We're married, but we're not together, so she can do whatever she wants."
At the premiere he told "Entertainment Tonight," "I love her with all my heart but people change and you sort of take times at your life where you have to evaluate if this is working for both of you."
