Comedian Arsenio Hall is suing singer Sinead O’Connor for libel.

TheWrap.com said Hall filed the suit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday seeking damages “in an amount not less than $5 million” in response to O’Connor accusing him in a May 2 Facebook post of supplying drugs to the recently deceased music icon Prince.

“Arsenio I’ve reported you to the Carver County Sherrif’s [sic] office,” the singer, 49, wrote. “Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie murphy’s house.”

The suit calls O’Connor’s statements “absolutely false” and “despicable, fabricated lies.”
