Bob Dylan's Never Ending Tour will stop at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on Aug. 13, with Leon Russell opening.

Dylan made headlines last month for his concerts in China, but in a rare statement to correct reports that he had been banned from performing previously or had been censored (both untrue, he says) he also addressed upcoming biographies.

"Everybody knows by now that there's a gazillion books on me either out or coming out in the near future," he wrote on his website, bobdylan.com.

"So I'm encouraging anybody who's ever met me, heard me or even seen me, to get in on the action and scribble their own book. You never know, somebody might have a great book in them."

So, Dylan fans -- challenge issued!

Tickets, $25-$125, go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday through Live Nation.
