Brad Pitt says he got first gun in kindergarten
Brad Pitt, star of "Fury," owned his first gun while in kindergarten, the actor told Radio Times magazine. "There's a rite of passage where I grew up of inheriting your ancestors' weapons," explained Pitt, 50, who was reared mostly in Springfield, Missouri. "My brother got my dad's. I got my grandfather's shotgun when I was in kindergarten." He had previously owned an air rifle, he said, and had fired a handgun by age 8. "The positive is that my father instilled in me a profound and deep respect for the weapon," Pitt added.
