Brockovich sorry for intoxicated boating
Erin Brockovich-Ellis has apologized for her arrest Friday at Lake Mead, Nev., for operating a boat while intoxicated, Newsday contributor Frank Lovece reports. "At no time was the boat away from the dock and there was no public safety risk," the environmental activist and subject of the 2000 Julia Roberts movie "Erin Brockovich" said in a statement. "That being said, I take drunk driving very seriously, this was clearly a big mistake, I know better and I am very sorry."
