Ben Affleck revealed in a Facebook post Tuesday, March 14, 2017, that he had completed a rehab stint for alcohol addiction. The "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" star has been to rehab before: In 2001, he checked himself into Promises Malibu, also to treat for alcohol abuse, with the help of friend Charlie Sheen, who was once a patient there and was three years sober at the time.

After decades of struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, rocker Ozzy Osbourne admits he's now been sober for more than a year. Though, in May 2016, Ozzy Osbourne's representative revealed he received treatment for sex addiction, which he allegedly suffered from for six years prior to treatment.

Conrad Hilton, left, son of Kathy and Rick Hilton, and brother to socialite Paris Hilton, was ordered to undergo a residential substance abuse treatment program for at least 90 days. A judge in Los Angeles made the order Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, after Hilton, 21, failed drug tests and violated probation that was handed down in 2015, after he pleaded guilty to disrupting a British Airways flight.

"Mad Men" star Jon Hamm completed a 30-day treatment program for alcohol abuse at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Conn. According to reports, Hamm entered the facility at the end of February 2015.

ABC News reported that their anchor Elizabeth Vargas was undergoing treatment for alcoholism in November 2013. She completed treatment and in 2014, after her second rehab admission, she described herself as an alcoholic.

A representative for Selena Gomez revealed on Feb. 5, 2014 that the singer/actress "voluntarily" spent time at The Meadows rehabilitation facility in Arizona, "but not for substance abuse." Gomez had canceled the Australian leg of her "Stars Dance" world tour in December 2013, saying, "I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be."

On Oct. 29, 2013, a representative for Chris Brown announced the star had checked into an undisclosed rehab facility to "gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point." Two days earlier, the singer had been arrested and jailed for allegedly punching another man outside The W hotel in Washington.

Less than three months after seeking treatment, Monteith died of a toxic combination of heroin and alcohol in a Vancouver hotel room on July 13.

Actress Tara Reid completed a 60-day stint in rehab at the Promises treatment facility in Malibu. Upon the completion of the program Reid told In-Touch Weekly in an interview that it was her alcohol use, not drugs, that was the problem.
