HAMPTON BAYS, N.Y. -- Michael Lohan’s ex-fiancee has told a judge she no longer wants to pursue criminal charges against him stemming from a fight they had last month.

Both Kathryn Major and Lohan appeared in Southampton Town Court on Wednesday. His attorney entered a not guilty plea to the
harassment charge.

Moments later, Major testified she wanted to drop the charge.

She also agreed to drop an order of protection requiring Lohan to stay away from her. She didn’t explain why she had a change of heart.

In July, she told police Lohan had threatened her during a fight. They have since split up.

Town Justice Andrea Schiavoni told the father of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan if he stays out of trouble for six months, the case will be dropped.
