Charlie Sheen breaks engagement to Brett Rossi

Charlie Sheen has broken his engagement to former adult film star Brett Rossi, just a little more than a month before the wedding was to take place, People is reporting.
"Scotty and I had a great year together as we traveled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list," the actor, 49, said in a statement released by his publicist, Jeff Ballard, on Friday. "She's a terrific gal, but we've mutually decided to go our separate ways and not spend the rest of our lives together."
Sheen and Rossi, 25, were set to tie the knot on Nov. 22. As for an explanation for the breakup, Sheen said: "I've decided that my children deserve my focus more than a relationship does right now. I still have a tremendous fondness for Scotty and I wish her all the best."
The couple met in November, months before Sheen proposed to Rossi while in Hawaii for Valentine's Day.
This would have been Sheen's fourth marriage. He was previously married to actresses Donna Peele from September 1995 to November 1996, Denise Richards (2002-06) and Brooke Mueller (2008-11). He is also the father of five children: one daughter with high-school girlfriend Paula Profitt, two daughters with Richards and two sons with Mueller.
