Now deadpan comedian Steven Wright actually has something to be depressed about.

The Cambridge, Massachusetts, native had to postpone his show at The Paramount in Huntington, scheduled for Friday night, because of a foot injury.

Wright, 58, will return to Long Island for a makeup date in exactly three months, on Sept. 27. Tickets purchased for Friday's show will be honored at the rescheduled show. However, those unable to attend the new date can request a refund through their point of purchase (The Paramount Box Office or Ticketmaster).

Tickets for Wright's Sept. 27 performance will go on sale to the public on Saturday at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.com, charge-by-phone (800-745-3000) or The Paramount Box Office (open daily, noon-6 p.m.). For more information, call 631-673-7300.

Wright burst onto the stand-up comedy scene in 1982 after wowing Johnny Carson on the "Tonight Show," making his signature low-energy one-liners hard to resist.
