Remembering Princess Diana's death
The tragic loss of Princess Diana, who died with her companion Dodi Fayed in a Paris car crash on Aug. 31, 1997, left Britain -- and the rest of the world -- in mourning. The couple's chauffeur-driven Mercedes lost control while being pursued by French paparazzi on motorbikes.
