David Arquette splits with girlfriend

Actor David Arquette and "Entertainment Tonight" reporter Christina McLarty have broken up after about five months of dating, he announced via Twitter late Tuesday, Us reports. "Sadly I'm single again," he wrote. "A long distance relationship proved to be too difficult." Arquette and McLarty met at a boat party last summer and went public with their relationship in September. Arquette has been separated from Courteney Cox since the fall of 2010, but they remain friends and have yet to file for divorce.
