Retired soccer star David Beckham and his teenage son reportedly were in a car crash Saturday in a London suburb. Neither was seriously injured.

Police in the village of London Colney, Hertfordshire, would not confirm that Beckham, 39, was involved in the crash of a gray Audi RS6 and a silver Mitsubishi Colt, according to BBC News, but did say the Audi's male driver had been slightly injured. The Colt's female driver was taken to a hospital.

London Colney is where the UK's professional Arsenal Football Club trains. Brooklyn Beckham, 15, plays for Arsenal's team for those age 16 and younger, said the British newspaper The Independent. The British newspaper The Daily Telegraph said the Arsenal and Brighton youth teams had finished a match and David Beckham was picking up his son. The paper said the Audi's air bags deployed, preventing serious injury.

David Beckham and his wife, Victoria, 40, formerly of the Spice Girls, have two other sons, Romeo, 12, and Cruz, 9, and a daughter Harper, 3. E! News said David and Brooklyn Beckham were in two previous car crashes together. In May 2011, David Beckham was driving on Los Angeles' 405 freeway when he "swerved to avoid a stalled vehicle in the car pool lane and clipped the vehicle," his representative told E! at the time. Neither was injured. In October last year, the two were in a Range Rover outside their home in Beverly Hills when David Beckham's SUV collided with an Acura SUV, according to contemporaneous reports. Again, neither was injured.
