DeGeneres, de Rossi purchase Pitt home

Talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have just purchased Brad Pitt's old Malibu mansion, E! Online reported Sunday. The four-bedroom, four-bath, 4,000-square-foot beachfront house sold for $12 million, the website said, adding that DeGeneres and de Rossi are downsizing from their $49 million, 15,000-square-foot home that was featured in Architectural Digest. Pitt had bought the house in 2005 after his breakup with wife Jennifer Aniston. It features private beach access, a pool and tennis courts.
