Del Toro, Stewart having baby together

They aren't dating and have never even been photographed together, but Oscar winner Benicio del Toro and socialite Kimberly Stewart, daughter of rock star Rod Stewart and model Alana Stewart, announced Monday that they are having a baby together.

"Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive," del Toro's spokeswoman, Robin Baum, told the magazine Life & Style. "Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby."

Stewart, 31, has dated actors Jude Law and Rhys Ifans and has been engaged twice -- first to former Whitestarr lead singer Cisco Adler and very briefly in 2005 to reality star Talan Torriero of "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County."

Del Toro, 44, who won a best supporting actor Academy Award for "Traffic" (2000), has dated actress Claire Forlani, according to E! Online, which also acknowledged rumors that he had a brief relationship with Scarlett Johansson. The actor is next set to appear in the true-crime drama "The Iceman."

There was no word on when the baby is due. This will be the first child for both.
