Diet firms won't pursue Kardashian as spokeswoman

The weight-loss companies Jenny Craig and Medifast told TMZ.com Thursday that neither plans to pursue pregnant celebrity Kim Kardashian for a spokeswoman contract, as Weight Watchers did with Jessica Simpson during that singer's 2011 pregnancy. Medifast told the website it was not seeking celebrity endorsements, while Jenny Craig said "We will continue our working relationship with Mariah Carey." Kardashian and her sisters Kourtney and Khloé signed with the Quick Trim weight-loss system last year and continue to appear on the company's website and products.
