In her soon-to-be-published memoir, the songwriter and former "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi reveals a spate of nonconsensual sexual encounters and molestations that began at age 11, and continued well into the 2000s.

"I DO NOT (DID NOT) SLEEP WITH ANYONE TO ADVANCE MY CAREER," she writes in "A Helluva High Note: Surviving Life, Love, and American Idol," being released Tuesday.

It was a policy seemingly forged as a child, when the daughter of CPA and future Congressman Joseph J. DioGuardi was inappropriately touched by a family friend's son.

In 2000, she said she was date-raped by a "fairly known producer."

The book, which arrives shortly before her new Bravo series, "Platinum Hit," premieres May 30, also covers her desire to get pregnant despite the tensions and pressures of "American Idol."

"I wanted a child, and there was no way I could get pregnant under the stress of 18-hour work days and live TV. . . . I had undergone three unsuccessful rounds of [in vitro fertilization] during Season 9" -- contributing, she says, to why she left.
