Dot-Marie Jones, who plays Coach Shannon Beiste on "Glee," has married her longtime girlfriend, Bridgett Casteen, whose Twitter page is now titled Bridgett Jones.

The couple's representative confirmed Sunday to People magazine that the two were wed Saturday at their Los Angeles home. This is the first marriage for Jones and the second for Casteen, who has two children with ex-husband Jack Parham.

The nuptials surprised close friends who had been invited to a holiday party at the couple's house and found themselves attending a wedding.

Jones, 49, who has received three Emmy nominations for her role on the Fox high-school musical series, proposed to Casteen in October near Disneyland Resort's Sleeping Beauty Castle in Anaheim, Calif., during the annual Gay Days Anaheim weekend.

"It's the happiest day of my life," Jones told the magazine The Advocate at the time. "I never thought I'd find somebody [who] is so loving and kind."This month the two celebrated the three-year anniversary of meeting each other.
