Edward Furlong denies ex-wife's claim he exposed son to cocaine, loses court bid
A judge has declined to lift an order mandating supervised visits only between troubled "Terminator 2" star Edward Furlong and his 6-year-old son, following reports the boy tested positive for cocaine after seeing his father.
Furlong, 35, attended a Los Angeles hearing on Friday to contest the allegations in court documents filed by his ex-wife, former actress Rachael Bella Kneeland, reported TMZ.com. He disputed her accusation, telling the court Kneeland was attempting to "alienate me further from my son and destroy my ability to work."
The actor, who has a history of arrests stretching to last month, has admitted to past heroin and cocaine addiction, but said in 2006 he had been clean for nearly four years.
In September 2010, a Los Angeles court ordered that Furlong's visits with his son, Ethan, be supervised and take place at the Family Care Monitoring Services facility in nearby Van Nuys.
Furlong's most recent film, the critically lambasted "For the Love of Money," had a limited theatrical release.
