Joan Rivers made an entrance to cheers and applause at Badgley Mischka's morning show yesterday at Lincoln Center, escorted by a film crew. Walking onto the runway seconds before the show started, the diminutive E! Fashion Police host wore a black chiffon Badgley Mischka dress with sequin shoulders and a big, white fur coat.

Did she like the show? "I loved it," said Rivers, pronouncing the New York fashion scene, "so much more sophisticated than LA."

Backstage, Rivers asked her Fashion Police co-host Kelly Osbourne what she thought of the show, which had a slight dark side. "To me it's like silent film meets 'Scarface,' " said Osbourne. On River's lust list: the furs. "I loved them. I'm going to go home and beat my dog," she joked. She would never.

A winning wish for Oscars

Ahna O'Reily is keeping her fingers crossed that her co-stars from "The Help" win big at the Oscars, the way they did at the SAG awards.

"I believe in our movie so much," said the actress, who attended the Alice + Olivia Fashion Week presentation. "I am so excited for Viola [Davis] and Octavia [Spencer], and I am so confident in both of them."

The actress said she is working on a movie called "The Time Being," in which she plays a mother, as she did in "The Help."
