Nude photos of Scarlett Johansson have surfaced on the Internet, reportedly lifted from her smartphone by hackers.
TMZ reported that the actress called the FBI to look into the incident.
"I can confirm that the FBI is investigating a series of computer intrusions targeting high-profile figures," FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller told the Los Angeles Times. She would not specify the length of the investigation or how many suspects might be involved.
At least two photos on the Internet show what appear to be the "Iron Man 2" star in nude poses. In one, she is partially draped in a towel. The other is a side-angle topless photo, with one hand held out of frame apparently to snap the shot. She is alone in both.
Meanwhile, hacked non-nude photos of Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake have also surfaced, along with purported texts between the two, TMZ reported Wednesday. Representatives for Johansson, 26, and Kunis, 28, did not respond to Newsday's requests for comment.
Johansson and Kunis are the latest celebrities to be hacked. E! reported that the FBI is already investigating other celebrity email accounts that could have been hacked, including those belonging to Vanessa Hudgens, Ali Larter, Miley Cyrus and Jessica Alba.
During the summer, hackers claimed to have nude photos of "Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively, according to People magazine. The actress' representative threatened legal action against any website making the photos public.
