Franco to guest star on 'Mindy Project'
James Franco will guest star in the season premiere of Fox's "The Mindy Project" on Sept. 17 and continue his two-episode arc in the season's second episode on Sept. 24, the network announced Tuesday. Franco will play Dr. Paul Leotard, a former fashion model, now charismatic doctor who replaces Mindy (Mindy Kaling) at Shulman & Associates while she is in Haiti on a volunteer mission.
