'Glee' actor Cheyenne Jackson weds partner

"Glee" and "30 Rock" actor and cabaret performer Cheyenne Jackson married his partner of 11 years, Monte Lapka, on Saturday.

"It's official, after 11 years together . . . married the best man I've ever known," Jackson tweeted. The wedding took place on a beach in the Hamptons, according to the magazine The Advocate.

Jackson, 36, met Lapka, a physicist, through a mutual friend in Seattle.

"It was pretty much love at first sight," Jackson told the website FrontiersLA.com in June. They were contemplating marriage even then. "When we became domestic partners last year, we were filling out some forms for life insurance or wills or something, and we thought we should make this as legal as we can," he said at the time. "I'd love to marry him. I think we will when it's legal."

Jackson -- who plays Vocal Adrenaline coach Dustin Goolsby on "Glee" and "TGS with Tracy Jordan" cast-member Danny Baker on "30 Rock" -- performed at Guild Hall in East Hampton last night.
