'Glee' to hit big screen with 3D filmTwentieth Century Fox Wednesday announced it's producing the concert film "Glee Live! 3D!" for a limited two-week engagement premiering in theaters Aug. 12, thewrap.com reports.
The studio said it will be shot during the show's summer concert series and will star 14 cast-members, including Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer. "We promise every passionate 'Gleek' a cinematic experience that will have them singing and dancing in the aisles," series executive producer Ryan Murphy said in a statement.
