Group pulls petition for Douglas to see jailed son
An online petition seeking to allow Michael Douglas and his ex-wife Diandra to see their imprisoned son Cameron, 34, has been removed, Newsday contributor Frank Lovece reports. TMZ.com said yesterday that the Drug Policy Alliance, which had helped to post the Change.org petition, had changed its mind, feeling the organization should not devote efforts to specific individuals and that it might reflect badly to be seen helping a celebrity's son and not others. Alliance reps did not respond to Newsday requests for comment.
