'Hairspray' star Ricki Lake engaged

"Hairspray" star/talk-show host Ricki Lake is engaged, People magazine reports.
"Thrilled to share some happy news with you," Lake, 42, tweeted, along with a picture of her and her fiance Christian Evans, 40, a jewelry designer.
The two have been together since last summer, after being introduced by mutual friends. She was married to artist Rob Sussman, whom she divorced in 2005.
Lake has two sons from her previous marriage -- Milo, 14, and Owen, 10 -- and she says they gave her new man their approval.
"I'm totally in love," she said. "I'm happier than I've ever been."
Her representative Josh Sabarra told E! News that Evans popped the question while the couple was on vacation in Spain, adding that no wedding date has been set.
Earlier this summer, she told People that she wasn't rushing to tie the knot with Evans. She described him as "a nobody, but he's a somebody to me . . . he's everything to me."
