Halle Berry to marry actor Olivier Martinez

Halle Berry has reportedly gotten engaged to her beau of over a year, actor Olivier Martinez.

The Paris-born Martinez, 46, best known to U.S. audiences as adulterous wife Diane Lane's lover in "Unfaithful" (2002), proposed with an emerald-and-diamond ring from the New York-based jewelry designer Gurhan, a company representative told both People magazine. Berry's spokeswoman told Newsday she had no comment.

Berry, 45, met Martinez co-starring in director John Stockwell's thriller "Dark Tide," shot in South Africa in 2010 and as yet unreleased. Berry most recently appeared in the ensemble comedy "New Year's Eve."

Berry was married twice before, to baseball player David Justice and R&B musician Eric Benét. In 2010, Berry broke up with model Gabriel Aubry, the father of her daughter, Nahla, 3.

This will be the first marriage for Martinez, who dated Australian singer Kylie Minogue from 2003 to 2007.
