Heidi Klum, boyfriend Vito Schnabel split after 3 years, report says

Has model and “America’s Got Talent” judge Heidi Klum confirmed that she and her boyfriend of three years, art dealer Vito Schnabel, have broken up?

“I believe that it is important to take time to pause and reflect,” the 44-year-old mother of four said in People magazine Monday in response to rumors since mid-September that she and Schnabel, born in 1986, had ended their relationship. The couple was first photographed out together in February 2014.

In June, a British tabloid published photos of Schnabel kissing an unnamed young woman in London in the early morning hours of June 23. A day later, Schnabel, a son of famed artist and filmmaker Julian Schnabel, told People in a statement, “The claims that have been made are a misinterpretation of an entirely innocent situation. There is nothing more to this than I was simply saying good night to a family friend and we went on our separate ways.”

The German-born Klum was married from 1997 to 2002 to celebrity hairstylist Ric Pipino. That marriage ended in divorce. She has a daughter, Leni, 13, with former boyfriend Flavio Briatore, an Italian businessman, but the couple broke up before the baby was born. Klum married singer Seal in 2005, and the two had sons Henry, 12, and Johan, 11, and daughter Lou, who turns 8 on Oct. 9, before divorcing in 2014.

The New York-based Schnabel previously had been linked to model Elle Macpherson and actresses Liv Tyler and Demi Moore.
