Reality-TV stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have welcomed their first child, son Gunner Stone.
Each of the former cast members of MTV’s “The Hills” tweeted a link Sunday afternoon to an Us Weekly story reporting that their son was born at 3:06 p.m. that day, weighing 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and measuring 19 inches long, with blond hair and blue eyes.
“Heidi and Spencer are proud parents of a healthy baby boy as of this afternoon,” a representative for Montag, 31, and Pratt, 34, told the magazine.
“We are so blessed to have a beautiful, healthy baby boy,” Montag added. “It was the hardest and most rewarding experience.”
Pratt told Us that the birth of the couple’s first son made the day “officially the most lit day of my life.” He previously told the magazine, “Heidi has wanted to be a mom since the day I met her. She has planned for and thought about this.”
When a fan jokingly tweeted that Pratt was now a “dadager,” or dad/talent manger, Pratt replied jocularly, “His first audition this week.”
Pratt and Montag met during the shooting of “The Hills,” the 2006-10 spinoff of MTV’s “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.” They eloped in Mexico on Nov. 20, 2008, renewing their vows in a lavish wedding ceremony in Pasadena, California, on April 25 the following year. It aired on season 5 of “The Hills.”
They have since appeared on “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” and on the 2013 and 2017 editions of the U.K. version of “Celebrity Big Brother.”
