Hollywood Life: 'The Bachelor' host Chris Harrison reveals whether he'd seek love on the show
In the January issue of GQ, "The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison, a bachelor himself following his divorce from college sweetheart Gwen Jones, talks about the split and whether he'd look for love on the show.
Harrison said that he was anxious to start dating after the couple's "amicable" split in 2012, but that urge quickly faded. "Once I got divorced, there was this knee-jerk reaction to get back in the action and date," he said. "I think there's something wrong in that. I'm incredibly, stunningly happy. What gave me angst was relationships."
However, he doesn't totally enjoy being single, either. "I would love to say I'm that guy who sleeps around, but I'm just not. That's not my thing. I tried. I'm not good at it. It's exhausting," he said.
While Harrison said he has no desire to be the next "Bachelor," he's less definitive about Jones being on the show? "There's a part of me, the producer side, that knows it would be epic television," he said. "Good or bad."
