Gandolfini returns to HBO

Sopranos" star James Gandolfini is returning to HBO to shoot a pilot within the next month or so in New York City, Newsday's Verne Gay reports. "Criminal Justice" will be an adaptation of Peter Moffat's British series of the same name. HBO Wednesday said the deal is a pilot order with Richard Price ("The Color of Money," "The Wire") and Oscar winner Steven Zaillian ("Schindler's List") also attached. Gandolfini will play a jailhouse lawyer who will represent a possibly wrongfully accused defendant.
