Should twice-married Kim Kardashian ever again bring a prospective fiance to meet her folks, says stepdad Bruce Jenner, "The next guy's got to go through me."
Jenner and Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Tuesday that they plan to be more involved with Kardashian and her siblings' future beaux. "Maybe we should start questioning some of their decisions," Bruce Jenner said.
Referring to his stepdaughter filing for divorce from New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries after just 72 days, he mused that, "I think once she got into it, she realized this is not going to work. And she knew she was going to take the heat. . . . She's a smart woman and said, 'Hey, I gotta cut my losses and move on.' It was horrible. I felt terrible."
Jenner added that he "can look at people -- I can tell if it's going to work or not." Could he tell with Humphries, Degeneres asked.
"I had my questions," he said. "I remember when Kris came to me. We were playing golf and he asked me is it OK to ask for her hand in marriage? In the back of my head I said, 'I don't know if she is going to say yes. But it's not my decision.' "
